Generally - the idea of timeshare was a great idea. Now however more and more people are finding it a millstone around their neck. Typically, I know an elderly widow who has owned a timeshare for about 30 years, and has reached the stage where she can no longer afford to pay the annual levy. Now there appears to be no way out of the situation, and the organisation demands the payment. What do these organisations do to those who have enjoyed their holidays over the years, but when widowed and retired are no longer able to pay this annual levy, surely that organisation has the marketing ability to resell the week on behalf of their loyal members?
