The worst service and a rude owner

I recieved a candyfloss machine that did not spin even once when we tried to use it for my daughters 1st birthday. When i reported the matter i was told that i broke it after the worker confirmed that it was broken from the people from the previous event. Now he refuses to refund even though i did not manage to make a single serving How do u break something that didnt work to begin with???
