An Experience I Will Never Forget ❤️ I would like to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to Casternview Hospital and the incredible team who took care of me during my stay. What could have been an extremely difficult and emotionally challenging period of my life was made so much more bearable because of the kindness, compassion, patience and professionalism I received from the staff. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with dignity, respect and genuine care. The environment became more than just a hospital to me it became a place where I felt safe, supported and cared for while I focused on my healing. A very special thank you to the Tsebo staff Jabu, Sonto and Retshepi. You were absolutely amazing. Your warmth, kindness and willingness to help made such a difference to my stay. Sometimes it is the smallest things a friendly smile, checking if someone is okay, making sure things are comfortable, or simply being present that mean the most when someone is going through a difficult time. You made my days lighter and my healing process much more relaxing. I appreciate each and every one of you more than words can explain. ❤️ To the nursing team, I want to give a special and heartfelt thank you to Sister Tebogo and Lerato. You both showed me what compassionate nursing truly looks like. Thank you for your patience, your kindness, your professionalism and for treating me like a human being rather than simply a patient. Your care and encouragement gave me comfort on days when I really needed it. And then there is Sizwe what a phenomenal nurse! 👏🏽 He was absolutely top-notch. His professionalism, attentiveness, kindness and the way he interacted with me stood out. You can tell when someone genuinely loves what they do, and Sizwe is one of those people. Thank you for going above and beyond and for making me feel cared for and comfortable. I also have to mention the sweetest Matron. ❤️ Your warmth and the way you lead your team created such a beautiful atmosphere. Thank you for ensuring that patients are treated with compassion and that the people under your care feel safe and respected. You have an incredible team, and your leadership is reflected in the way they care for patients. To everyone at Casternview Hospital who played a role in my stay thank you. Every conversation, every check-in, every meal, every smile, every act of kindness and every moment of care contributed to my healing journey. I came to the hospital needing healing, but I left with memories of people who showed me genuine kindness when I needed it most. I met beautiful souls during my stay, and I will forever be grateful for that. Sometimes we don’t realise how powerful our kindness can be to someone who is struggling. Your kindness helped make a difficult chapter of my life a little softer, calmer and more peaceful.
