No respect

I fully understand that I have been handed over however I emailed stating that I only get paid on the 5th so therefor I will be making payment and his response is that is unacceptable!!!! Like yes its not his problem in when I get paid but how do they expect me to make payment with no money? Every time I call, I get treated spoken to like I'm a child. I have also been told that he will no longer take calls from me. Lawyers act like this...........
