unfair rating fees

good day: please assist last year in march I have borrowed r800.00 from cash converters and the amount that I was to pay to take the item out was roughly r1208.00 and the storage fee for an amount of R250.00 I have been paying the storage fee via an eft these month I have paid r250.00 and forgot to notify the store,, now they are telling me I have to pay R550.. to safe keep my item or pay 1700.00 to take it out-- to me its a total reap off as is more than the initial amount on the contract-- I even sent the proof of payment on the 21.04.2019 the guy don't even consider the payment made--these morning I sent him message to ask if I pay r550.00 how much it will be my balance they are telling me that it will be the normal amount on the contract wich is R1208.. I feel these is totally unfair--I am speaking to herman in montana cash converters his cellphone number is ********** 442 the store number ********** please assist in these matter as I feel like I will be loosing my laptop
