TERRIBLE AFTER SERVICE - STAY AWAY PEOPLE

A laptops was brought at Cash converters George...this particular laptop was not what the client initially wanted but the laptops that she was interested in was sold. This laptop was for her kid that was desperately in need of one as she is in a private college in CPT and her assignments was pilling. So the floor assistant was told what it'll be used for and he explained that the laptop was all good for the purpose.Floor assistant said 'flat', so he plugged in the laptop on the floor to show that the laptop is operating - No test was done of the battery. The sale was done and the buyer had to take the laptop to the technician to install Microsoft word and exel program packages which is needed for her daughter to be able to do her assignments and after that needed send the laptop to her kid. Laptops was sent and after day of having the laptop buyers daughter stated that laptop can operate without being AC adapter plugged into power. So the mother (Buyer) went back within 7 days of purchase to report this and all she got is the battery is not covered...no warranty. She asked for the manager- VERA was not available. when called the shop later that they VERA was still not available. When calling back after 3rd time and choosing to hold on Vera took the call. everything was explained, the urgency and the sensitivity of this. NO COMPASSION was conveyed by the manager and even after she was told that no test was done by the floor assistant and now after all the money that was spend on loading the programs and shipping was all for nothing. She needs to know spending half of you salary for your kids future is no playing zone. People work hard for their money and for people to be bluntly be taken for fool or ***** them of it...IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! Manager didn't even come up with more than one solution or just bring the laptop in and we might do refund. NO COMPASSION ...NO CUSTOMER SERVICE...TERRIBLE AFTER SERVICE...NO WONDER THESE BAD RATINGS
