Taken for Granted by Cash Convert
I bought a tablet at cash converters in Promenade which was incompatible with the apps I needed. When I returned it to the store the day before lockdown I was not given a refund when I needed it I was given a replacement which is an iPad. The iPad had a similar problem as the tablet but because it was lockdown I could not return it. At level 4 I went to the store to get a refund and I was told they cannot help me so I must come back at level 2. When the president announced level 3. I messaged customer service and they told me the store is fully operational. I then took the Initiative of calling the store and they fully agreed that I can be able to get a refund. When I got to the store to discuss this with them. I was denied a refund and I was given a replacement which is a toploader second hand machine which costed R800 and today I was attempting to do a washing the machine is leaking and filled the house with water. This upset me a lot because I was not expecting this because the store assured me that the product was working 100% and it only needed a pipe that connects the tap and the machine. I feel the store has taken advantage of me and taken me for granted as I am polite and not a feisty customer.
