Racial profiling

So apparently shopping at Cash convertors-Midrand compels one to leave your backpack at the door with a security and the shop doesn't guarantee your property that is left at the door. I had to beg the management for me not to leave my MacPro worth R 20 k at the door and I was told that there are no exceptions but what doesnt make sense to me is that this is blamed on me being a security risk since I might have a gun in my back. I feel that this is profiling based on the color of my skin and I don't see how any white person would take this treatment nor ever shop in a store of such ethics. To be honest this should make for an interesting talk on the radio show tomorrow. And the arrogance of the manager is amazing.
