Poor client service Musina Cash Converters

I visited Musina Cash converters this morning, found an item I would like to buy with a marked down sticker on it. Great I requested the price to be tagged with the price it's selling for after the discount. Still browsing I then find a similar item with an already marked discount sticker (handwritten) for cheaper, obviously, this is the buy I want to make. Cancelling the other the clerk assisting me took the item to the back and comes with a printed sticker of the price. Confused I asked if the discount still going to be subtracted from this price. No, it's the discount price she rep****. To elaborate the hand written sticker displayed a price looking like R149, however, the one was supposed to be a two. So I insisted to speak to the manager which was unable to handle the situation, arguing with me that it's a two and not a one. Incompetence prevail! Rather than addressing the incompetence, I am being embarrassed by her asking everyone around what does the number look like. Then I escalated the situation to the owner Robert who rather decided to talk around the problem and not decisively rectifying the problem. I am very unhappy that improper labeling (handwriting) is not dealt with and it takes precedence to customer satisfaction. I wasted my time trying to buy an item displayed with the wrong price (poor handwriting).

Good day

Thank you for your Hellopeter post.

Please note that our stores had a massive markdown sale from 1st to 3rd September and their was / now stickers were handwritten. The printed price is the actual price already discounted.

I apologise if there was such confusion and will definitely take this into account when we do our next massive markdown.

Your complaint will also be sent to our customer care as well as the store.

Kind regards

Hi Tia, Thanks for your reply, and I would like to reiterate that the problem is not because it was handwritten, but that it was written impropperly. Then following the attitude that the manager and owner displayed. I would expect klerks to be professional and write properly, its troubling mistaking a two for a one. Please ensure that you understand my previous message clearly, as it seem to me you misunderstand me completely. I was merely explaining the chain of events, thus printed or handwritten stickers are not the cause of confusion, but its the unproffessional conduct of the store's manager, and the improper handwriting where numbers needed deciphering before understood. Your store in Musina require some coaching on customer service. Kind regards. JJ du Plessis

Good day Tia, That's great to hear, unfortunately, there has been no communication with regards to unprofessional conduct by the store's staff and what was done to improve on their client service and writing s****s. This is the first message I received since I rep**** you 2 months ago. Thus from my side, I do not believe that this issue has been resolved. Very disappointed.
