Paying with counterfeit notes

Had a clean up at home, I had about 206 new Music CD's that I had bought over the last few years that I decided to sell. I went to Cash Converters in Weltevreden Park and was given R5 per CD. I was paid cash in R200 notes and change. Normally I do not carry cash and I put the money in my wallet. My eye site is not good enough to see if a R200 is counterfeit . This morning I went to macro to buy some goods and I thought I would use the cash. The young lady at the till said to me that one R200 note was counterfeit and asked where I got it. I said Cash Converters in Weltevreden Park. she said she must tear it up. I said no, I will go to cash converters and ask them what I must do. When I got to Cash converters I asked to speak to the manager, I told him the story and the young guy that served me the day before confirmed that he had given me R200 notes. This is when I got attacked my the Manager and another lady (Maybe his side kick) saying that Absa bank would never give counterfeit notes and its all hear say, I could not reason with them. the manager told me that I should have phoned them ealier if this was what happened. I told them that I did not know the note was counterfeit.
