Pawn Express
<p>A neighbour of mine took his TV to Cash Converters in Durban North he needed some cash, he had to move back to JHB and handed over all the papers and information regarding his TV to my brother including an affidavit which was requested by the STAFF at cash crusaders. It eventually turned into one ugly fight betwee the staff at cash converterss and my brother. We were told that they are waiting till it turns into stock then we should buy it back at a much higher price! WHY IS CASH CONVERTERS ROBBING PEOPLE WITH FALSE ADVETISING IN IMPROPER INFORMATION.</p> <p>We even contacted the regional manager who he himself were unsure of their policies and gave the store manager authority to make a decision if he would like to release the TV.</p> <p>This is just a money making scheme as they are making money out of people who are already in Financial situations.</p> <p> </p> <p>I WARN WHOEVER CONSIDERS TAKING THEIR VALUABLE TO CASH CONVERTERS, DO NOT YOU WONT GET YOUR VALUABLES BACK</p>

Clearly you were not told everything! it was discussed but nor resolved. If cash crusaders would like to keep the TV then by all means KEEP IT! This just goes to show how consumers are being ****** off their valuables because you guys decide to make extra cash off people who are already in financial situations. Andrew and the regional manager both made a decision to keep the TV until it turns into stock and then urged my brother to buy it back.

The store manager used this opportunity to make money off the TV, no one has fairly tried to resolve this issue therefore my brother has given up on even further trying to get the TV back on behalf of our neighbor!

Why did your staff named BEEVOGIT asked us for an affidavit if the manager would already decided not to release the TV?!?!? The manager even refused giving us the banking details. Even after the Regional Manager agreed that it should be paid for but kept until the iriginal owner picked it up.
THE STORE MANAGER HAD NO INTENTION OF RELEASING THIS TV AS HE KNEW HE COULD MAKE A FEW EXTRA THOUSANDS OF THIS TV.. CONGRATULATIONS ON SUCCEEDING!

May I suggest your brother and your neighbour call Andrew, our store owner? I believe he did explain that you have to be the owner of the goods in order to negotiate any deal. In this case, you are unfortunately not the owner of the item. Also, your brother was apparently given the affidavit, and not yourself, which means your brother needs to deal with this matter directly.
