Identity theft at the Cash converters.

i went to cash converters Mayville i noticed they had what i needed. This were two car jacks . so I picked them up and went to the sales counter to purchase, My purchase was halted when they requested I give them my id no. Since i have had a bad experience with my identity froud . I told them I am only interested in buying the two car jack. the junior sales lady then called her sinior manager.

she told me that if I dont give them my id ,thewill not be able to sell me the items. i was disapointed that this was their stance. I asked her if she is aware of the identity laws. she said thats thier policy no id no sale. please can we start refusing giving our id`s as asales condition. I am very disturbed by this. hope they learn someday.
