I was ****med 10k in day light by Cash converters Midrand

On the 26 Jan I went there looking for a decent and fast cell phone and I found the Samsung Note 20 selling at R10k after talking to the sales lady about my requirements I bought the phone. Upon using the phone I noticed that the phone overheats and restarts every now and again, I also noticed that when it restarts with 50% battery it will come back with 2% battery life after that restart also when i leave home with 100% it will be on 20% around 10:00 midmorning and that doesn't help

I bought this phone for a purpose of work that is a application I use for work hence I needed to buy a fast a reliable brand phone so it can allow me to do my work at a decent speed. I have been using the phone with a back up power bank since than...

Last week I went to the shop to try and see if there is anything we can do to resolve this since it's still under 6 months warranty as it states at the back of the slip. 1st day I went to the shop and I was told that I should bring it in the following day so they can book it in for repair and I was happy about that since I didn't have a replacement phone I couldn't bring it in on time the following day I can to the shop in the afternoon to make arrangements to bring the phone the following day with was Saturday

Sales lady who also gave me at attitude for returning the phone went to call the manager who came to me with such a rude attitude telling me that I not supposed to fight and I wasn't righting anyone I just came to make arrangements... He continued to yell at me telling me that it doesn't matter if I spent R10k on it or R1 he is not obligated to help me in front of everyone who was in the shop at the time. He wanted me to pay for fixing the phone that is still under warranty with them when I told him No he went on and on insulting me and telling me the way he won't me because I apparently talk to much

The amount the replace the battery was R600 I have already paid R10k for this phone and he still wants to pay again... NEVER

So basically buying a phone or any budget from Cash converters appears to be a day light ******* and a ****. On top of that he wast to put a pirate battery on a Samsung that I bought for R10K that is really ****ming people that's a day light ******* from that shop... That is not solving the problem that is just postponing it, two weeks down the line I'll be there again complaining about the same thing... There is no way I will accept the phone with a **** battery there reason why I went to buy a good brand was so i can know it genuine not to have **** parts inside it.

Due to that I even left the cellphone there I had to format it on the spot and leave it there lossing all my information that was in it... But there is no point in me keeping the phone that doesn't do what I bought it for few months ago it has no use to me like that the trust is really broken here

There is no way I will take that phone back right now I want my money back because even if I can take another phone of the same value chances are I will end up in the same situation again because clearly they are in the business of ****ming people so now I need my money back in full so I can go and buy the phone at a reputable place I'm disappointed at the way this was handled and going forward I hope this will be handled better... The Manger there is really a disgrace for that shop he doesn't know anything about customers service
