False Advertising

Today I visited Cash Converters Pinetown only to be extremely disappointed... They advertise "Turn your clutter into cash" but this is very untrue! How often is it that one is wanting to get rid of new, in dated items? I can assure you, it is a lot less than wanting to get rid of "Old" items. I went in with a Sony Handy Cam and was almost laughed at by the staff because it was "outdated". I insisted that their refusal went against everything they portray to be!! I was then told that "If I insist - they will give me R50.00", what an insult! I have never before felt so embarrassed to be drawn to a store, by THEIR advertising, and then be treated like a complete fool!! They want us to take in all our NEW unwanted items for them to buy from us at a ridiculously low price (Taking advantage of ones desperation) and resell it at an enormous profit! A complete disgrace!
