DISHONEST BUSSINESS DEALINGS

I pawned my Apple Mac at Cash Converters Silverton in Pretoria. I paid up only to find my laptop damaged. We agreed I could take it to iStore for a repair quote only to be told I needed to pay a non-refundable booking fee. So i took the laptop back to Cash converters on the 21 March 2024 for them to have it repaired on their cost as they had agreed. 08 April 2024 Cash converters came back to say the cost to repair is equal to replacing it and that they would engage their insurance on way forward. Since then nobody has ever come back to me - instead it's been me doing the chasing. Now we are at a point where my calls and WhatsApp texts are being ignored. On the 2nd i was also promised feedback which i never got. Yesterday i was told i would get feedback this morning which i didn't.
