Disgusting service/ No accountability for items in their possession

Wow!! Totally disgusted at the service received from Cash Converters in Vorna Valley. Not only did an item in their possession get ****** from them. They want to treat you as if you are the one who stole something from them. Thereafter, as if that is not bad enough, they only want to offer a fraction of the items value as compensation. The manager has been playing a hide and seek game since last year when the item was “******” from them. I am taking this further but the public must be made aware of the "disgusting" business ethics that they run by. Totally disgusted, more than words at this point.

They are aware of this issue as the bracelet was ****** by their staff member and now they want to offer me R1000 for a piece that was valued over R5000 and a quote received from the Jeweler that made it. Management is just as dishonest and are not will to take account for what their staff members are doing. When we go to the store they call security for us as if we are the ones who stole from them. They are *******. All we wanted from them was for it to be replaced or compensated for the loss. What they offered as compensation is like someone spitting in your face and laughing at you thereafter.

Good day, lets try this again as I am calmer today.
I went to Cash Converters in Vorna Valley as i needed a little cash. I took a bracelet that was worth over R5000.00 to make a loan against it, the loan amount was about R300.00. wich was given to me. Before the month ended i went back to pay back the loan amount which was taken but then the consultant advised that they could not find the Bracelet. The manager was then called in to come and talk to me of which she came and asked me to please give them a day or two for them to check for the item. After two days i went back and the manager advised that they still have not had the proper chance to look for it as they still could not find it and asked me to come back after a couple of days whilst they did their investigation and checking of the security cameras. When i came back after a couple of days the manager advised that the bracelet was ****** out of their safe as the cameras did not show anything and they could not find it. i advised the manager that it was a valuable item that i wanted back. She then offered to call me back as she wanted to have it remade but would check with their jewelers and give me a turn around time. She never called (no surprise). I then went back in to the branch to the manager and she advised that their jewelers would be closing for December soon and they would not be able to do it. I then offered for them to give the cash value of bracelet of which I had to get a quote from the jeweler who had made it 14yrs ago. the quote was given to them and she said she would come back to me, needless to say no one ever called me about anything. I January when I went to the store 10 minutes before their closing time and their doors had closed and the security advised they where closed. My wife and myself waited outside the store as we wanted to get feedback from the manager on the way forward. The manager called their complex security for us as if we where harassing them. Since then we have involved an advocate in matter to get some sort of feedback on what is the way forward. through their communication the Franchise owner and the manager have advised that they are only willing to compensate us with R1000 as the bracelet is 14 years old (19ct gold bracelet made 14 years ago could never be valued at R1000. today). the store manager and the franchise owner have since been silent and i feel this is a *******. i want my bracelet or an equally valued replacement of the item.
I would really like to be contacted with a reasonable feedback with regards to this problem .

direct number is ***.

Urgent resolution of this matter would be greatly appreciated since i have been patient long enough.

Good day,
No, I was not happy with the resolution (nor did i give any indication of such). I only accepted as this has gone on long enough and it was frustrating me (since September last year to be precise). The fact that Cash Converters staff can ***** a bracelet valued over R5000.00 and then have them tell me about how much it weighed and base that on how much to pay me back as compensation was an absolute *******. As far as I am concerned , you do not go into a jewelry store and purchase an item according to how much it weighs. The value , the design, the workmanship that went into the item was never considered as it is when purchasing the item. This has been an awful experience and to make things worse we had to deal with an ***********, rude manager who has no customer care knowledge or expertise what so ever.
Never have we been so disrespected and treated in such a shockingly disgusting manner as we have been throughout this ordeal. No empathy whats so ever, no care and just blatant disrespect of having the manager tell me " I am only acting like this because I am afraid of my wife" when i came in with my wife the second time wanting to find a way forward after being told they could not find my bracelet. The manager went as far as calling an external security company for us after we went to the store to find out what was going on as she was not calling us back with any feedback as she had promised. I will not even go into the racial insults that where said to me as an African man by an African manageress because my wife is Indian. Utter disgust and unprofessionalism in its worst form.
Like I said at the beginning," Wow!! Totally disgusted at the service received from Cash Converters in Vorna Valley."
I really wish as much people can see this response and know the kind of customer service they can expect from this establishment.
