Disgusting attitude from cashiers Cash Converters Attebury Value Mart

I am really sick of the bad attitude of the cashiers at the Attebury Value Mart store. If this had only happened once one could write it of to a "Bad day" but this is the third time something like this has happened. Here is how it went down. I found a portable radio that I could use to break the silence during load shedding (which the store was experiencing when I went in) and took it to the check out counter. Me: Hi just this one please, I will be paying cash. Cashier: No Me: Excuse me Cashier: We can't test it. Me: OK I see there is load shedding, but there is an open plug on your point of sale that is running off back up power, can we test it there? Cashier: No Me: OK but I am pretty sure it works and it does carry your guarantee so if there is a problem I will just bring it back. Cashier: No, we have to test it so that you are satisfied before you take it. Me: Ok but there is no power, and you won't test it on the back up power, I am sure your buyer tested and found it to be working so I am sure it will be fine. Cashier: No we have to test it to your satisfaction, not the buyers and we can't test it so you can't buy it. Me: How would me testing it and your buyer testing it be any different? Cashier: (No reply, just stares at me with serious attitude) Me: So you are saying you won't sell it to me? Cashier: No I turn around and walk out the store, found an even nicer radio at the same price from Cash Crusaders. To the franchisee, I suggest that you sort your staff out, they are costing you money...
