Chest of Drawers

On Wednesday,27 December 2017 I went to Cash Converters Grey Owl and saw a chest of drawers on display priced at R399.After making inquiries about the item,I was told that I could not buy it immediately as it was still within the 7 day" cooling off period".The item was going to be available for outright sale on the 28 December 2017.The manager and staff said to me if I was serious about buying the item,I had to be at the store by 9h00.

I subsequently went to the store and waited by the door at 08h45.When the store opened at 09h00,I proceeded to the cashier to pay for the item and was told that it had already been sold.I was told by the staff at the store that the item was sold at 08h00 when they arrived for duty.I protested about their dishonesty but they just ignored me including the manager on duty.I have therefore made a conscientious decision that I will henceforth boycott this particular store.
