Cash crusaders Three Rivers breaks items in pawn

I had an item in pawn with this franchise and whule in their possesion the item was damaged and is no longer working. I contacted them via their facebook page and am yet to receive a reply. See below the message sent to them.

For the attention of owners of cash converters three rivers. I had a amp in pawn with you last year that I collected at the end of november just before leaving on a three month stay in usa with my mother. The amp went into storage (placed in the storage unit by me in the bubble wrap packaging as it came from your shop). I returned to SA last week and moved into my new flat. When I opened the amp from your packaging and tried to set it up I discovered that its no longer working after I pawned it in a working condition tested by your buyers in the back shop. How does this work?? I am very unhappy about this. I understand that I pawn at my own risk but since when does this mean that your staff can damage stock in pawn to their own liking?? I want this resolved as soon as possible or I will be taking steps. Regards Angelique Lu****
