Cash Converters- Wynberg - Cape Town : PATHETIC ******

I am wholeheartedly disappointed in Cash Converters, Wynberg, Main Road.

My advise to all Customers is not to be fooled by accepting a “drop” in price, & Do not be further conned, by not accepting a guarantee on goods, after Management offers a “ discount” on price!

I am fully aware that Cash Converters sells Second Hand items, However, It seems as if Wynberg Store displays returnable, broken goods/items on the floor, to fool Customers into purchasing damaged goods.

My Story I bought a Russel Hobbs Mist Fan for my 102 year old granny on Thursday, 20/1/2022, the Manager dropped the price from R700 to R560; because it was not rotating/spinning, [Or so I thought], It was also without A remote. [Not mentioned in Store]

On Friday, 21/01/2022, the fan fell apart! I switched the fan on and this is what happened:

Fan started shaking, basically spinning around my Grans room. One of the plastic blades split/broke inside the fan! Water spilled all over the floor when the fan was switched on! The fan became completely dysfunctional!

Everyone around gasped in dismay.

Questions now asked?

Is that store taking Customers for Fools by selling Items that have been returned by disgruntled Customers, to dismay future Customers? Or Are items used in the Store prior to being sold to the customer?

I have sadly been fooled/*******, by ******, but I know Karma will pay a visit to that Store!

Ps. I dumped the slip, after being told there was no guarantee!

Let’s see how long that store will last!
