Cash converters undercover ******** and *****sCAZ

Writing this really affected me and ive come to realize the Cash converter stores are wolfs in sheeps clothing.These guys have no sympathy morals or even a heart for human beings. Im so broken by my experience. On the 5/01/23 i went to cash converters blue hills midrand and had taken a cash loan against my brand new samsung A03.A phone hardly a month old in excellent condition.After the guy who handles giving out the loans looked at my phone he offered me R600 i was shocked a brand new phone in great working condition R600 a phone worth R1800 i said to him sir that phone is new i even have the box and receipt can you not do R850 the guy refused making excuses and then when he looked at me realized i was desperate an added an extra R100 to make the total R700.Still very disappointed i accepted has i was in a real medical situation and need money for my little boy. After all the charges and fees still making sense of what does inititation fee charged up front mean my total repayment to get back the phone was R937. 50.even though i was sad by the amount i was given i was greatful and left. A month later i went back to the store and asked to please extended my payment for another 10 days has finding the money to pay just the monthly installment was difficult i was told it will cost me an additional R82. 50 So what puzzled me is if i had the phone for a month with cash converters i was supposed to pay R90.08 now with the 10 days extention i was charged an additional R82. 50 plus the monthly fee of R90. 08 making my montly holding amount R172. 50. My first question to these ****** is why is it for 10 days i had to pay nearly the same amount as for a entire month its really day light *******. Cash converters you know people like us are desperate but you make sure to rob us of every cent offering pathetic amounts for decent 2nd hand items.anyway when i went back to the store which was on the 11th day of my 10 day extention and this was around 9.30am 16 feb 2023 i asked the guy who deals with the loans can you please help me with just one more day i said 5o him i do have the monthly installment fee however on the 17 Feb 2023 i can afford the entire month and then he starts making excuses his system wont allow him any system can be over written but clearly this guy didnt care looking at his greedy eyes money was all in his mind not helping another human being was never in his thoughts. Anyway i do understand its a business but i wanted 24 hours to pay the full amount R1020 rather than paying the the monthly fee and then coming back again and paying R1020 has well. Anyway i had no choice so i asked the guy plse confirm the installment only for him to say because i was 1 day later i now must pay R320 has the monthly fee and if i want to take the phone out it will cost me R1400. I was confused i tried to ask for an explanation but the guy just said his systems does the calculations. Standing there i was about to cry knowing i dont have R320 or afford R1400 its shocking just how much of a **** these guys are. I unfortunately left the store with a soar heart knowing my phone is now gone to someone and probably for an amount of a new phone.cash converstars you guys are ******* robbing the poor desparate south african people. I will make sure people throughout south africa sees what you guys are really about. I will also contact the government to investigate you guys and i will make sure i leave no stone unturned to have you guys investigated.i will write a letter to the ombudsman and then i will mention my experience on every social media sites. You guys have gotten away for to long its time someone does something about you guys.
