Cash Converters N1 city

I went to the cash converters N1 city branch last month handed in a computer monitor (value new R1999) took a R500 loan on it testing was done in store and worked 100%. a couple of weeks later went to collect it, it was wrapped in it"s original packaging and handed back to me (no testing was done when handing back) carefully the monitor was placed on my passenger seat got home carefully carried it in when powering on i saw the screen was completely cracked.

Went back to them was informed ill receive a call later in the day after they speak to the owner, received a call back saying the shelve was empty where it was stored, also said how do they know it didnt damage with me? I handed something in perfectly working and get something broken back!! I demand a new screen back or compensation as i now had to fork out money for another monitor!!!!

Within me i know i never damaged that screen taking it from there home it happened there, and at this stage they stand back throw their hands up in the air saying its not them, they got their money and interest and gave me something back broken!!!!

i expect a call back with a solution or i will take this as far as i possibly can. i will never return there or refer anyone to N1 City Cash Converters.
