Cash Converters committing *****, ******** and robbing people

Last Monday the 14th June, I had a guy who sent me proof of payment, proof of residence and a copy of an ID of a person named Sabelo to prove he was a legitimate buyer for my washing machine.

A few days later, when the money hadn't reflected in my account, I called the bank to find out what was happening with the payment and provided the details I received from this guy. That's when they told me that the account in question has been closed since April and there's a note on file that this same person has done this with another person who was selling a bed.

The person who came through to fetch my washing machine came with a Cash Converters vehicle - the company name was on the vehicle. The sticker was not a magnetic sticker, it was printed on or permanently stickered on the doors of the white bakkie, in a brownish/maroonish print. The driver was a white guy in his late 30s/early 40s, with two other guys that came up to the flat to carry the machine down.

He has ****med me, ****** my machine, has done this before and I want him caught.

I messaged this **** Sabelo person to let him know I was aware of his **** and am going to the police. Immediately after that, I received a called from the guy who came and fetched the machine with the Cash Converters bakkie. The name that came up on Truecaller was Tabiso. In an attempt to cover their backs, they tried to pretend like they were trying to get gold of Sabelo and couldn't and that the machine was at their shop and going for auction.

I believe it is the Kensington, Meadowdale or Park Meadows branches.

Capitec confirmed this is not the first time this **** was done using this specific account. I have the Capitec ref. no. as well, stating this has been done before with those credentials.

The numbers I have are as follows: Chrostopher - *** Tabiso - *** (these are the names that came up with Truecaller)

They have my name, contact details, address, email address and banking details. I see on my clear score report today that my credit score is down 10 points, which is not normal for me. I don't know what they might be doing with my information, and I believe it's linked.

Cash Converters franchise owners and employees are ******** and robbing people and these people need to be caught!
