CASH CONVERTER IS A *****

I pawned a brand new iPhone 16 Pro Max (256GB) at Cash Converters Ferndale on Republic in September 2025 under a valid pawn agreement. When I returned to retrieve my phone, I was informed that the store had been ****** and that my phone was among the missing items. I was not informed of this earlier, even when I contacted the store to extend my contract. I was offered 25% for iPhone 16 pro max that I bough R35,000 cash. I bought this phone August and I pawned it in September because i wanted to pay my jnr sister rent. I entrusted my property to the store in good faith. The phone was in the store’s custody, and I expected it to be protected or properly insured. Offering only partial compensation for a high-value item lost while under their care is disappointing and it feels like they are the one who plan this *******. I’ve been sending message on WhatsApp and also been amending multiple mail but they won’t reply me
