Accounts not paid

My company supp**** goods to the Cash Converters branches in Benoni and Bonaero Park, owned by the same franchisee George Kouklinos, in July 2014. Despite repeated requests for payment, numerous promises and the intervention of the Cash Converters SA franchise operations staff, Petunia Mokwena, this account is still not settled in full. This matter was even escalated to Alan Anstey, National Operations Manager of Cash Converters Southern Africa Pty Ltd who on the 11 November 2014 confirmed that he had followed up on the matter.<br> <br> Calls and messages to George Kouklinos' cell phone are ignored, and calls to his office are met with the standard line that he is in a meeting and to phone back later.<br> <br> It is unbelievable that a franchise of this size can allow franchisees to conduct business in this way, and begs the question do suppliers and customers have any protection when dealing with a Cash Converters store.<br> <br>
