Allergy ignored in food order
<p>I am HIGHLY allergic to GLUTEN and also have Celiac disease whereby eating products as gluten can cause more dangerous diseases as MS. </p> <p>I phoned to order a gluten free pizza as done previously.</p> <p>They took my order. Upon arrival the pizza was not done and me and a collegue waited. </p> <p>My collegue asked if they have the correct pizza orders for in case. </p> <p>Then the employee told us that it is what we ordered but not gluten free, they ran out of stock and he decided to make it a normal one.</p> <p>IF WE DID NOT ENQUIRE THEY WOULD HAVE GIVEN ME FOOD THAT CAN **** ME AND/OR CAUSE SEVERE ILLNESS IN MY FUTURE.</p> <p>This is unacceptable due to him not informing me and that they think this is acceptable to just change someone's order. </p> <p> </p> <p>I dont order gluten free and disgusting taasting food for FUN!!</p> <p> </p> <p>Unacceptable.</p>
in regards to my above review, I have to add that I have contacted the head office; and I have been in contact with their staff.
They have given me good feedback and have contacted the branch and staff.
They are busy sortin gthis out and have promisded me the staff will all receive training on the severity of such requests.
Lets hope this will improve and they will all keep this in mind that when someone orders a specific item, there is a valid cause to this.
