Subpar food and bad service

We celebrated my grandmother's 93 birthday at Casalinga in Muldersdrift. The venue was beautiful but the service was sub par and the food was terrible. We where 13 people on a busy Saturday; which I don't see as an excuse.

I paid R195 for a fillet which was so dry that I couldn't even swallow it. The rest of the meal tasted of nothing. I sent most of it back. There where so many waiters that served us that no one knew what was going on. They didn't know who ordered what; it was confusing. We have a family restaurant which isn't as famous and Casalinga but does not even compare.

Everyone was a bit disapointed and I would not go back.
