Non-disclosure of defects and contravention of the CPA

I bought a 2011 Mitsubishi ASX from Carzuka for R127 000.00, the sales service was excellent and certain issues were disclosed like the oil leak and rear brakes that needed replacement. However, I have up to now had to fork out R 15 000,00 for new shocks and tires as the shocks was completely worn out and the car had 4 different tires with different tread on it. My biggest shock came when I took it for repairing the oil leak. I will have to fork out another R50 000,00 to have the oil leak problem repaired properly as the engine block and crank case was at some stage taken apart and not aligned properly when put back together. This caused the oil seal not to seal as it is supposed to and was patched up with silicone. There is a possibility that the engine, crank, and main bearings could be damaged as a result. If there is indeed damage to the engine the only other option will be a replacement engine. I feel that it is unfair that none of these issues appeared on any inspection sheet and was not disclosed. I will be seeking legal advice as the CPA was not fully adhered to in this case. This vehicle would never have passed a roadworthy inspection in the current condition.
