Carzuka Eastgate selling mechanically defective vehicles

I have/had been having the worst experience with Carzuka in Eastgate Mall

The initial response and response times were good in setting up a viewing

I arrived at the premises for my appointment to view the vehicle of my choice and the sales people did not know where the vehicle was parked

Eventually we located the vehicle and the vehicle had cosmetic defects with the front doors and bonnet not being able to open. The windows of the vehicle was also an issue

I was told I cannot test drive the car due to it raining outside, I left for the day and asked them to resolve some of the cosmetics so I could test drive the car and check inside the bonnet. The salesperson then sent me pictures on the following day as per my request and the bonnet was opened and various other pics of the interior and exterior of the car

I sent the salesperson a message asking if they'd fix the faults or if Carzuka was willing to negotiate the price for me to fix the cosmetic faults on the vehicle and he called me to come through and come and pay for the vehicle. I arrived and after doing a test drive and asking them to fix the doors, bonnet latch and other faults I was told to return two hours later to collect the car

When I was called to collect the car, the car still had cosmetic defects the two front doors not opening from the outside and only one front door opening from the inside I was told that the price we agreed upon would not be accepted as they won't be making any profit

They let me know the next morning that they would agree on a price R5000 more than what we agreed upon. I believed according to the salesperson that the car was in good mechanical condition so I agreed and asked them to fix some of the cosmetic issues and do a diagnostic on the car to scan for any faults, the salesperson Tshegofatso said they do not do this for cash deals even though I specifically requested it.

When I collected the vehicle it was driven to my place by the salesperson Tshegofatso and left for two days on the first day I drove the car to work it broke down after approximately 10kms of driving.

Even though this vehicle is not financed or of "very high value" it does not give Carzuka the right to sell defective vehicles to customers who spend their hard earned money on buying a vehicle that they trust is mechanically sound.

The vehicle is back at Carzuka for inspection, and I will update this review once I receive feedback from them but honestly I must warn people against having faith in this dealer as I was towed there by another Carzuka vehicle a Ford Ranger which is currently for sale for R199 995 which overheated after towing me only about 8kms back to the dealer.

To Carzuka please either repair the car and give it back to me in a drive able condition or give me my money back as you cannot sell cars that are not in a driveable condition. I agreed to repair the cosmetic issues on the car but I was assured by several sales people that the engine and gearbox is mechanically sound.
