Carzuka E-natis nightmare
At the beginning the service was great! My vehicle was assessed and I was offered a reasonable amount. After accepting the offer the service went downhill. My vehicles license disc expired on the 31/03/2023, I was told that this wouldn't be a problem as Carzuka would just deduct the amount owed on my license disc. On the day Carzuka was due to collect my vehicle the person cancelled an hour before our appointment. I had to drive to Eastgate to conclude the sale, he made arrangements for me to be assisted there. I sold my vehicle on the 08/05/2023. I was told that the change of ownership would be done by the 15/05/2023, and the vehicle would be off my name. According to Natasha ( the enatis department manager) they are unable to give me a turnaround time as Benoni traffic department is experiencing a high volume of vehicles to license and due to loadshedding they have a backlog. Is the entire country not experiencing loadshedding? Is this an excuse for the paperwork to take this long? To top it all off she then changes the story and says its actually the operators disc on the vehicle that is delaying the process. When trying to come to a solution - I asked her if I could pay the outstanding balance on the disc and then receive a refund she stated that I am welcome to pay it, however I will not be receiving a refund- even though the money was already deducted from me. This is absolutely ridiculous that such a big company cannot conduct a task this simple. I am aware that there are a large number of vehicles that Carzuka needs paperwork for, but why should the customers suffer when Carzuka took on the responsibility of licensing the vehicle?
