BEGGING a Dealership to sell you a car- Next level incompetence!

Maybe they are good at buying cars, but SELLING cars is an entirely different story. I first contacted them on the 25th of November, it's now the 5th of December and even though I had finance approved from day ONE, I am still without a car!! Why? Because 1) they don't roadworthy their vehicles UNTIL someone is interested, then it goes for roadworthy, then only do they get quotes for the required repairs etc. That took 3 days. Then the sales person, after sending me an incorrect OTP and telling me " oh now someone else is interested so whoever gets finance first, gets the car" despite the fact that I TOLD him I am pre-approved already, disappears off the face of the earth and I don't get the courtesy of a reply to my request to correct the OTP because " he's busy" . Within an hour of correcting the OTP I have full finance approval but to get the finance department to contact me to FINALISE the deal, took another 2 days, after I final got nasty on social media. (Here I have to concede the lady that helped me, Reneilwe, was wonderful to deal with, hence the extra star) Then they insisted that I FIRST insure the car, get Standard Bank to PAY for the car before they will start repairs! Now on the day I'm supposed to collect the damn car, there was an issue with the repairs and I STILL don't have a car, that I've paid for, and insured! I have never in my life, fought and literally BEGGED someone to sell me a car- I literally did ALL the legwork for them. Easiest sale ever, all they had to do was make sure the car was sellable! *********** does not even come close to describing my experience with this company and I will NEVER make the same mistake again.
