Get your act together!

Having been a waitress at carvers restaurant during my student years and not having been to carvers in about 10 years, I was sorely disappointed going back one Friday evening, not only in the attitude of the waitress but the buffet itself was shocking. <br> <br> I had the mussels for dinner which were as remembered, however, having to wait 40 minutes for it and then when querying the time being told by our waitress to just wait, is unacceptable. My partner, is vegetarian and found the buffet lacking not only in quantity but quality. The salads as well as the soups look like they had been out since lunch time and with the party from the bar having come in, by the time he got to the salads there was very little left. It took almost half an hour for the staff to replenish salads and even then not all were replenished. <br> <br> Carvers is not the place I remembered so fondly, not only having worked there but as a customer thereafter. <br> <br> I'm unlikely to come back in a hurry based on our experience last night but hope that this feedback will help in making some changes. It truly is a beautiful restaurant with such amazing potential, if effort is put in and kept consistent.
