Unfairly billed

<p>Good afternoon,</p> <p> </p> <p>On the 26 April, I made a booking on the cartrawler website for a vehicle. I cancelled the vehicle the same day twenty minutes after the booking was made. I was assured no funds will be deducted from the account.</p> <p> </p> <p> I get the bank statement and the amounts went for R791 rental and R380 insurance.</p> <p> </p> <p>When i enquire i was informed i was suppose to cancel with Avis and Cartrawler, my argument is on the booking voucher only the Avis number is displayed. Why is this not communicated when booking. Also the cartrawler website does not enable you to cancel. </p> <p> </p> <p>The fact i was billed for a car and insurance that i never used and cancelled absolutely disgusting. Even the responses i got from customer care and Ciaran were so indifferent.</p> <p> </p> <p>Absolutely appalled. I WILL NEVER USE THEM again.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
