Avoid doing business with them if possible

I reserved a car through the Emirates web site at the Dubai airport Terminal 3 and upon reaching the counter and providing my Passport and Emirates ID card ( as I just began working in UAE) Dollar rent a car informed me I could not use my Canadian drivers license or my Omani drivers license, I could only use an UAE license as I had a work visa. They refused to rent me a car as they said it is against the law "(no problem I will get a UAE license which I have since gotten). Here is the problem CARTRAWLER billed my credit card for the full rental amount and as of yet has not refunded my money, they are next to impossible to contact or get a response from, after finally getting someone I was informed it could take 1-2 months before receiving my refund !!!! Now imagine if I told my credit card company I don't feel like paying my bill for the next 1-2 month's Im pretty sure they would penalize me with hefty interest on the outstanding balance. As of yet I have no response to my claim, no one has e-mailed me contacted me in any form. I have no idea why Emirates associates with such dishonorable company, a huge corporation such as Emirates should be more careful who they partner with, just by reading all your complaints they are terrible !!!
