Wow, just wow. Stay away!
I don't even know where to begin. To scheduled appointments not honored, and technician pitching at unscheduled time (and more), Cartrack contacting me to come out to check their device, NOT the other way around, then getting several calls later saying I owe R600 (yes they did!), when no costs were discussed, no papers signed off containing costs, absolutely NO discussion of costs in any way or form to give consent to(and they called ME). Then, even after I ask every single consultant to escalate the matter to management (are they even aware of the consumer protection act?) and to pull the recordings as evidence, to stating ON RECORD to the consultant who asked if they can take the money via debit order, "I state on record I give no consent to the debit order", even after all this they actually attempted to ***** the money from my account via debit order (yes, they actually did! had to dispute it) to over 13 conversations with agents in both support and legal departments full of lies about escalation and callbacks I would receive, AND constant communication with their Whatsapp group with generic responses and more lies about matter escalations and them pulling the recordings, with management and legal not responding, it's crazy! Even escalations to CEO and escalation departments, not doing anything, and consultants continuing phone for the money. For over two weeks contacting them regarding the payment escalation to management and recording evidence, then getting calls again afterwards asking for money by consultants. Original appointment discussions started over 4 weeks ago. Today (19May) actually received TWO calls within a minute from Cartrack of which first one was still asking for the R600, so could not answer the 2nd call. What does that tell you about the structure, management and operations of this company? And we should trust them to track our vehicles?? It's a scary thought thinking this company has access to people's accounts. I've had some bad dealings with companies too large for their own good over the years, but the scale at which it happens here, is just mind blowing. If only I knew.
