Very bad.... It they last sow the car last year April till nw they can't get it on their system the it's point less for me to pay

Good day To whom it it may concern I've been with car track for the last 2 years, and I was in an incident witch they wrote my car as an right off. So been paying it regardless of my situation. Just called them now and asked if they can still track my car and they said the last time they tracked my car was last year 3rd of April. My concern is I tried to cancel it since well I no longer using the car at the moment and they told me I have to pay for it for the next 36months witch is fair however why can't they locate it nw.. Couze the car its safe and I have it wanted to check if they can locate it and they said they can't couze its off... So what em I paying for on a monthly basic if the people that I'm paying they can't locate my car at moment... I did specify that the battery if off. And why can't they detact if the battery it's off think they have should called the moment I disconnect the battery that it's a problem.... Since well I'm still fixing my car I think I should be paying a less amount couze they not being usefull toward me at me moment... Please advice.. According to me if there's no battery car they won't find my car?
