Unprofessional and Sly

Well, about 3 weeks ago we got a call from the call center stating they need to come inspect our tracker unit as it is faulty. a technician came on a Monday and worked for about 1 and a half hours dash board stripped by this time, he then informed us he cant finish the work as he got the wrong job card and another technician would come to sort it out, he closed the dashboard and left. by the Friday another technician came and started working on the car, after about an hour he said he cant find the tracker unit, he called in to the office and a person from the office informed us we needed to pay R1000 for a new tracker. we informed them we did not remove the tracker and we did not tell a 3rd party to remove it either therefore we will not be paying that R1000. after phone calls going back and forth it is now 3 weeks later and the car still does not have a tracker unit i called them numerous times but no luck as to get it sorted i just get transferred from department to department as each department says it is not their query to resolve. now being lock down we do not travel with the car. So finally when i wanted to drive the car a found a small black box by the gear lever, called them once again to inform them that i found the tracker or what I thought was the tracker and still no feedback. my questions and concerns are as follow. 1. i do not have a tracker therefore i do not have their service yet my account still gets debited. 2. with no tracker unit i will not be covered by cartrack should my car get ****** nor am i going to be covered by my insurance as it is a requirement from them. 3. why if the tracker was removed and it was not by one of their technicians did they not get a tampering message at head office, so if they did not get that message then what is the use of having a tracker. 4. every time i call have to call them and then i get transferred from department to department and just to get told we will call you back but they never do. 5. Starting to wonder if this is not their MO to remove a tracker from a car and then charge the client penaltys tomake a quick buck, or even remove the tracker so that the car can get ****** without it being traced.......... syndicate maybe i dont know but by not answering or resolving the problem it makes me think of a thousand reasons as to why this happened.

Just take accountability and fix the problem, how hard is it to admit to a mistake and fix it.
