UNHAPPY CLIENT-FINANCE QUERY

Called CarTrack 19th October and requested a discount on my outstanding account which was in arrears, i was happy when they offered me 60% to bring my account up to date and the lady i spoke to we agreed that i will settle the account on the 25th of October amounting to R1252.80.

To my surprise on the 20th i got a debit order of R850.00 (day after arranging for the 25th i figured the debit it tracing my account however the agreement was for EFT even got a WhatsApp with banking details) from my account which went through with no issues.

Called the finance team and i was told that should not have happened if possible i should reverse the debit order wow. I figured that wont be wise i then paid the the outstanding balance through EFT on the 25th for R430 to make up for the agreed discounted amount or R1252.80.

On the very same day i settled the outstanding amount i was debited again an amount of R850.00. I called in and i was advised a manager is looking into the matter they will come back to me with no specific TAT, followed up via WhatsApp number *** this past Monday, got a response advising that my account is not yet updated they will come back to me not sure when as there is no TAT, my account is still suspended with an excess amount of R878 from the agreed settlement amount and no resolution on site as to when it will be sorted.

Is this some form of punishement perhaps for being in arrears when i was going through a tough period financially? 40 days is a lot of time to resolve such an easy query i was advised thus how long it will take WOW
