This 150k is not true
M I am really disappointed of the service I have received from Cartrack ever since I lost my car. I lost my car on the 4th of March 2019 and called cartrack and they then told me that they retrieved their units but not my car.
I received a letter dated 24th of June 2019 instructing me that my claim has been declined on the basis of late submission of claim after the 30 days of submission has lapsed interms of clause 10.
I then stated to them that my first correspondence with them was not solicited as to why my claim was submitted late as the agreement is 30 days (which I was not aware of it). So I further disclosed that upon the theft of my motor vehicle I was heavily consumed with depression that i slowly started sinking into that i was not aware of.
My vehicle was ****** on the 4th of March 2019 and I was subsequently admitted for severe depression on the 19th of March 2019 and discharged on the 22nd which was my first admission. They were of the view that I was okay. I was subsequently readmitted after I had attempted to commit suicide and was admitting in the Intensive care unit after an overdose on the 30th of March 2019 and subsequently discharged on the 06th of April 2019.
After a rollercoaster of emotions and instability I first made communication with Cartrack on the 09th of April 2019 and submitted the claim to Cartrack when it was reasonably possible bearing in mind what has been stated on the 12th of April 2019.
Documentation to the effect of my communication was attached to my email. I submitted that none submission within the 30 day period may be condoned when looking at my case objectively after receiving such factors that justify the late submission of the claim such that they would be of persuasive value in reconsidering the claim that I made to you.
Kind regards
