Technician damaged my vehicles electronics when doing a de-installation

To whom this may concern

On Wednesday the 26th of February technician Soyisile (technician code CFWC084) did a de- installation on my vehicle as i am currently selling my vehicle. He was busy for approximately 30min and handed me the keys to my vehicle. When i attempted to use my vehicle an hour later my remote of the vehicle disnt work. Luckily the car was still unlocked. When i started the vehicle my clock didnt work and the traction control light was flashing on the dash. I called the cartrack office and informed them what was going on and they sent Soyisile back to repair the vehicle. After an hour and a half he could not find the fault. He spoke to his supervisor/manager Tony and i was informed that they would only be able to assist me the following day. As this was my only form of transport that was not an option and i demanded they send another technician to repair the vehicle. Cheslin arrived and found that a main fuse had blown and as it was late he made a temporary repair. He instructed Soyisile to take the part number of the fuse and replace it early the next day. The warning lights however did not dissapear .

The next day Soyisile only arrived 10:45(with the incorrect fuse). I had to go to Toyota kuilsriver myself to get and pay for a fuse. This however did not remove the warning signs on my dash. I checked the vehicle into Toyota kuilsriver to find and repair the damage your Technician Soyisile had caused to the vehicle.

I spoke Theuns the manager and informed him about the situation. Eventhough he did send technicians to try an assist Toyota to repair the vehicle, the only thing he could say to me was sorry and Soyisile will pay for the fuse.

The fact is I paid R870 for a de-re for Soyisile to damage my vehicle. The vehicle has been standing at Toyota kuilsriver since the 27th of February and I am without transport. I had to rent a vehicle at my own cost, pay for the main fuse, and Toyota informed me that they will be billing me for the work currently being done on the vehicle.

I am extremely disappointed in Cartrack in the way they have handled the situation. A simple de-installation has currently cost me thousands, and the communication i got was SORRY.....

I did submit a query on the website on Thursday, but have yet to receive a reply. Maybe I will get a reply from CEO's office
