SUMMONS FOR CLAIMED REAR PAYMENT AGAINST M.M. MAJOLA: MAJO01777

I made an arrangement with Cartrack to transfer a tracking device from my Toyota Verso which I had traded-in on 04/04/ 2022 to a corsa bakkie and I paid R880-00 for that transfer. Since then cartrack had not installed the tracker device in the chev corsa bakkie until 01/10/2022 after several telephonic follow ups and emails. For the past months they have been sending messages for me to pay monthly premiums which I disputed since the device was not installed. I received an amended invoice after they installed the device of R346-50c which I paid on 22/10/2022. They have now summoned me for payment of the arrear amount of R1 401-00 yet on Monday 31/10/2022 I spoke to someone from their legal services who understood that it was their mistake to charge me for the car that I had reported to have traded in and even paid for the transfer of the tracking device.
