Sueing a deceased individual

My husband tried to cancel this service from March 2025 until he passed away in August 2025. I advised them of his passing and sent them the death certificate as well. Each month I get emails from them advising that he will be handed over to their legal team for collection. I have telephonically confirmed with them that the account is closed but I still keep getting this notification which is really upsetting. Would they legally continue with this threatened action of handing a deceased person over to their legal team?
