Request for Assistance – Cartrack Subscription on Written-Off Vehicle

My vehicle was involved in an accident in early January 2026 and was subsequently declared a write-off by my insurance. The vehicle has since been taken by the insurer.

Upon contacting Cartrack, I was informed that the tracking unit cannot be removed unless I pay a fee of R2,200, or alternatively, I must continue paying the subscription until the contract expires.

I am currently paying for a tracking service on a vehicle that I no longer own or have access to, which I believe is unfair under the circumstances.

I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter, including the cancellation of the service without penalty.
