Rejected limited recovery warranty

On the 01 June 2022, vehicle description 2018 Kia K2700 Workhorse, was hijacked and could not be recovered by Cartrack.

The vehicle was fitted with a unit type Fleet Management Plus (GPS) under account ***. The Cartrack Service Agreement between SHEZ00588 and Cartrack was entered into on 19 May 2018.

The hijack incident was reported to cartrack on the 01 June 2022 and the vehicle could not be recovered.

On the 6 June 2022, I was informed I do not qualify for Limited Recovery Warranty due to missed unit quarterly testing that took place during a busy scheduled and default payments on my account that occurred during the covid-19 level 5 lockdown.

I appealed to the service provider and the decision could not be overturned. I will like to warn any end-user who has a contract with this service provider to watch their terms and condition.
