Recovery Warranty is a ****

This car track recovery warranty is a bull ****. I bought a car Nov 2018 with the initial insurance and installed a Cartrack unit that comes with a recovery warranty. The following year which is 2019 I changed my initial insurance to another insurance. My car got hijacked the first time and it got recovered and came back with unit damaged, the unit was replaced, the car got repaired, covered by the second insurance and went back back in business. Based on the bad experience I had with my insurance I have decided to change the insurance again to another insurer. One week down the line after the car got back in business it got stollen while parked in SunnySide PTA on until this day the car hasn’t been recovered. The last update about the progress on finding my car was once on the same week I have reported it stollen, till this day I haven’t got a call from them. I have Enquired about the warranty and guess what I was told, that my second insurer is liable for paying for the loss not Cartrack, people that I’m no longer having their services, okay I called them and asked about it and they told me they don’t know what tracker is talking about. I went back to Cartrack and asked them for voice recording and till today I’m still waiting on those recordings. By the look of things Cartrack is trying by all means not to pay for the services I have been paying for since nov 2018 till the day my vehicle got stollen in 2020.

If anyone can please help me, advise on what to do in this matter, I’d really appreciate that.

Thanks

Excuses and excuses.

I’m now being told a different story. As I have explained, I was told by one of you that I don’t have warranty cover with you yet I have a device that’s suppose to have one installed on my vehicle and I have paid for it since, never even skipped payment.

Your response...

“Good day In accordance with the Cartrack Service Agreement entered into on 29 November 2018, the Limited Recovery Warranty is subject to specific terms and conditions set out in clause 10, which state, inter alia: 10.4 Exclusions: This warranty shall be invalid if:10.4.16 The claim under this clause 10 is not made by the Client in writing to Cartrack within 30 (thirty) days of the Loss. You have not submitted a claim to Cartrack within 30 day of your loss (04 August 2020).

Therefore, we regret to inform you that you do not qualify for the Limited Recovery Warranty. Regards”

Now you telling me I was suppose to claim within 30 days yet I told I don’t have cover when I wanted to claim a week later after the vehicle was ******. Like you would say or do anything not to pay, a big company like Cartrack, this is so disappointing.

Because once you start hearing stories like this you know you have been ****med.
