Dont be fooled the R150 000 recovery warranty is just a ****

My car was hijacked in May 2019. I called Cartracker to inform them of the incident, I have provided all the information they requested

I called few weeks after the hijacking to enquire about the R150 000 recovery claim and the consultant confirmed that I qualify for a R150 000 Recovery claim

I submitted my application to Chantall with the required documents and I was advised to wait for a period of 60 days which ended on the 9th of August 2019.

Cartracker rejected my claim because I did not inform them that my insurance was cancelled. When I joined them they never asked me about insurance. There is nowhere on my contract where they wrote that I must have insurance or to notify them when canceling the insurance.

The only thing that they wrote on my contract is that if your car has insurance then you dont qualify for the R150 000 recovery warranty claim, the insurance must pay off the car. So how do you get the R150 000 from Cartrack because they dont pay you when you have insurance.

DONT BE FOOLED THINK TWICE ABOUT MY SITUATION BEFORE YOU JOIN CARTRACKER. THE R150 000 RECOVERY CLAIM IS JUST A WAY OF HAVING MORE CUSTOMERS.
