Pathetic service Car Track
Car track is abusing their market position. I've installed a car track device on 2023,now the device is not working. One of the customer consultant told that it is faulty and it need to be repaired. She further mentioned that such service come at the cost of R600. I've asked how can that be, because I have 3 months contact, she said it is part of their Terms and Conditions. I decided to leave the device which is faulty rather to pay additional fees for the faulty that was caused by them. I will never even a single say advise someone to have cartrack device. Now I will pay the reminder of the contract for something that is not working as we speak. What a pathetic service

16 May 2025, 16:14No, the matter cannot be resolved, because Cartrack is refusing to accept accountability of fixing the device or unit. You are saying that the Unit comes with 12 months warranty and warranty had expired so I must pay additional R600 on addition to my contract which in my views is unfair because the current contract is still active

Your unit stopped working on 26 April 2024.nobody informs me about warranty related and I know you would said we emailed it to your email and it's part of terms and conditions, however we can't hide around Terms and Conditions for something that Cartrack can simply disconnect in an attempt to get additional revenue to the customer. Example a car that is out of warranty will keep moving, your unit is out of warranty it stop working where as the contract is still active.
