One Angry and unsatisfied client
I wanted to test my system and my panic button and I pressed the panic button to see if all is well as I was advised by the sales consult a and the technician that installed the system, after 5 mins I didn't get a call and I called in to check maybe my system was faulty, the lady I spoke to sounded less interested with my call and she was rude , I explained my frustration and I then asked her why i didn't get a call back as I was told that within a minute I'd be called, she couldn't answer and I asked her again if this was an emergency what would happen she just said hold on and the next thing I was speaking to a gentleman named Harron and he told me that when I test the system I need to call in, I told him that I once called and then I was told that I need to test the panic button also and No one told me that to test the button I still need to call in hence I pressed it to see the reaction time and nothing happened and I was told by the lady that she was busy with another client I was next in line then I asked her if she was the only one in the call centre she couldn't answer hence I was transferred and the gentleman was soon condescending to me telling me that he does this Maitland I told him that doesn't answer my question, I then asked again what's your reaction test if someone presses the button then he said there's a time frame of which I didn't get my answer to I then asked him what if I pressed the button as an emergency that means I'd have to wait for help, then he was still condescending and said I must not press the button in an emergency., he also said they will call me when I press the button ( after 5 mins I guess ) I then told him that if they call me and I don't answer that clearly means something sto wrong , then he asked what if they take me with them I told him that I won't answer if they force me to I'll give a wrong password that will still signal that I'm in trouble. So my question is why do I have a panic button for if i must not press it, and what am I paying for if the button is useless. Please someone need to explain to me what's your SOP when it comes to pressing the panic button and what's the procedure to testing the system. As I'm paying for a service and the service must work with me and the call centre staff need to be clued up in handling cases like mine and they must have telephone etiquette not treat clients like they are idiots. Before you transfer a call to your superior you need to inform the client that your doing so not keep them on hold then they are speaking with someone else and I'm not sure if I was speaking to a manager/supervisor. Please get back to me with this regard. PS- I sell the Cartrack unit daily to my clients and I advise them it's the best and this is the service I get I wonder if my clients gets treated like this or what. Looking forward to your positive feedback.
