NONSENSICAL CUSTOMER SERVICE

My name is Busisiwe Ndlovu NDLO13109. On Monday the 17th I received a call from Cartrack and the guy who called me was Lucky Dlamini. He called regarding the Roadside assistance service to be added on my existing contract. He explained what the service entailed but I was not sure if I wanted the extra service or not, he kept on pushing that I was starting to feel uncomfortable, telling him that I suspect that he might be a ****. He them assured me that he was from Cartrack, he put me in a tight corner that I ended up agreeing to the Roadside assistance service. Taking the extra service under duress.

What he did not properly explain was that I will be paying the amount of R60/65 per car. I asked him when my account will be debited and his response was that it will be debited on my normal debit date, the 28th. He also never told me about paying pro-rata and the admin fee.

On the morning of the 19th August I got a notification from my bank that R100.40 has been debited from my account. I phoned Cartrack wanting to know why my account was debited and what was the debited amount for and I spoke to a lady by the name Keisha. This lady told me that it was a pro-rata and admin fee per car as I have a contract for 2 cars. I told the lady that the pro-rata story was never relayed to me and she said that the consultants don't have the Finance information, I was now angry asking her why does the company allocate people to call us when they have limited information.

I then told her that I want to cancel the Roadside assistance service, she told me that it is R50.00 per car to cancel, I told her that Lucky never mentioned a cancellation fee, he only told me that I can cancel at any time. I was then transferred to the cancellations department.

Yesterday the 20th I received a call from a lady, I forgot her name, she was also from Cartrack. She wanted to know when can they debit my account for the cancellation fee, I told her that they did not ask me when the made the R100 debit why are they asking me, I told her they can use the same process they used because they have made my account their playground. She told me that I should approve a bank mandate of which I said I will not do it because the first debit there was no mandate. All of this information can be obtained from their recordings.

This morning the 21st August, I got a notification of a debit of R159.00 made by Cartrack. I want to know why my account was debited for R159.00 when they sent me the invoices amounting to R100.00. I also want to know what the extra R59.00 is for.

Cartrack provides nonsenical customer service, I wish I can move to another tracking company. Their service sucks...
