no service at all

I bought a car from Auto Pedigree and got insurance from MiWay. However Miway said the car needed a tracking device in order to enjoy propper cover on the vehicle. MiWay suggested Cartrack. From day one i received nothing more then ****ty service from them. They send me an email with the application form. Nothing else. I was asked several queations on this form of which i didnt know the answers nothing. I tried to phone them but had to count to 10 after the first try. The first consultant answerd and i explained my problem. No sorry i dont work with it but will transfer ur call to someone who does. Phone rang and another consultant answerd and again i explained what the problem is. Again it was said that she doesnt work with it and that she will transfer my call to someone else. This time around the phone just rang for like ages untill i was cut off. Immediately i wonderd about their abbilities but thought to give it another try. Same thing happened. I stripped and send an email to miss Leah Thompson their client service manager or something. I told her that i am not happy to say the least and if this is how they handle, at that stage, a potential client, i dont want to know i they will handle a client. I mean really? Consultant answering the phone but have no freaken idea on what different devices they have or not being able to atleast give me a stupid answer on one of the questions asked on their application? After about half an hour ms Thompson called me back and immediately wanted to apologise but i didnt give her a change because i was really ****ed off. I told her what i wanted to know and asked what i should fill in on the application form. After she helped me i asked if that was so difficult to help and she said no.

So then a date was set for installation. I was promised it would take no longer than an hour. It took almost 3hours for the technician to install the device. However i didnt complain about this just as long as i know the device is working. I downloaded the app on my phone to also be able to keep track of the vehicle as i am not the only driver of it, and would like to keep updated on the wherabouts of the vehicle. 6 days after the device was installed i received an sms from them to say that the device was tested and its working perfectly. That raised a bit of concern as my vehicle didnt move that day so how could they possibly test the device? And isnt they suppose to test it immediately after installation?

However, my problem started days after that. I wanted to show someone the app on my phone, and to my shock realised the app last updated 2 days prior (17/12/16). I immediately contacted cartrack just to check if the device is working. The consultant answered said she will check. I held the line for almost 5minutes after which she said the device isnt working and she will log a complain and a technician will contact me within half an hour after we spoke. 4Hours later i phoned cartrack again. Another consultant answered and said she will transfer me through to their technical department. Holding the line again for what felt like ages, she came back and said the lines seem to be very busy at the technical department and that she will log a complaint as very urgent and that a technician will call me urgently.

Its now 29/12/2016 and still no phonecall from no one at Cartrack. I have send ms Thompson an email the same day i have phoned. She answered me the following day, saying its only the satellite but a technician will contact me and i dont have to worry they will still be able to track my vehicle in the event of theft/hijacking. That just isnt good enough for me, because how will they track it if the **** satellite isnt working??

Meanwhile i have cancelled my holiday plans to accomodate their technician if they should come out to fix the problem. Im still at home, no holiday, only driving around town, waiting for a Cartrack technician. I have send another email this morning to their service centre and made it clear i am not a happy client. Still no reply from them.

I have phoned MiWay aswell this morning to let them know i am not happy with Cartrack which they suggested, and also to make sure who will be held liable if the car gets ****** or hijacked. I am definately not going to pay my freaken ass of only to hear MiWay wont pay out or that i will be held liable. Luckily for Cartrack, the consultant at MiWay assured me i am covered and wont be held liable.

I will definately not recommend Cartrack to anyone. Its ****ty service from the moment u contact them. Im not even a client for a full month yet, and already im very sorry i chose them. 2017 i will start looking for another tracking company.
